KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides general maintenance support to stores through painting and painting preparation, building/repairing shelving, cleaning and other basic maintenance needs throughout the assigned geographic area.
• Performs preventive maintenance on store equipment as directed, troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning; performing light electrical plumbing and carpentry.
• Communicates and documents actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Performs tasks related to store marketing changes such as re-configuration of store layout.
• Performs in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities.
• Participates as required in training for existing and new equipment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other assigned duties as deemed necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent.  Valid driver’s license and be insurable as a driver.  Requires traveling to different store locations throughout as assigned on Florida west coast.  Must be able to use hand cart, power tools, hand tools and ladder.  Must be able to work independently.  Must maintain a positive team attitude and professional demeanor at all times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to withstand temperature changes (working in cold vault); work inside and outside store.
• Able to stand, walk, crouch, crawl, stoop, bend and squat.
