JOB SUMMARY

Maintains all store equipment with the exception of refrigerated fixtures. Troubleshooting and repair of most food service equipment, including but not limited to: roller grills, coffee equipment, fountains, condiment dispensers. Plumbing, sinks, toilets, drains replacement and repair. Electrical including but not limited to (replacing switches; plugs; wiring, using a volt meter); All electronic equipment at the front counter (training is available for this) along with phone related issues (tracing lines). Performs preventive maintenance; performs general maintenance work in stores repairing or replacing ceiling tile, flooring vinyl, and ceramic flooring.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED and a 3-5 years experience in the maintenance field.  Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and able to use a ladder.  Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.  Experience in telecommunications is preferred but not required.  Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently in high priority, confidential, demanding business environment.  Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and must be insurable as a driver

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

(Note: Not all of the below described responsibilities will be required.)

• Maintains all store equipment. Troubleshooting and Performs preventive maintenance; performs general maintenance
• Work with Facility Supervisors to facilitate repairs with out-sourced vendors
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Keeps equipment, systems and building ready for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; repairing and replacing doors, plumbing and tiles; painting; recommending changes.
• Ensures operation of equipment by diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment.
• Maintains money order machines and safes by troubleshooting repairs and reprogramming equipment.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment
• Will be required to attend and participate in safety training on a regular basis
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
