JOB SUMMARY
Provides financial analysis and support to the Real Estate Department. Manages Licensing Coordinator and licensing compliance activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides management with planning and control information by assembling and analyzing financial data; developing and maintaining financial models; providing forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions; providing analysis of results against targets.
- Evaluates projected financial results of undertaking new projects, acquisitions, divestitures, by analyzing capital expenditure proposals, recommending courses of action.
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and results. Develops ad hoc reports as needed.
- Assists in preparing financial packages for the Real Estate Development Managers’ projects by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information on a by-site basis.
- Analyzes and tracks monthly financial reports versus budget and prior year performance. Assists in annual budgeting process.
- Responsible for the monitoring and renewal of all Federal, State, County/Parish and City licenses to ensure they are current; processing all renewal applications according to guidelines set forth in each application.
- Maintains copies of all licenses on premises and all renewal applications with backup information.
- Prepares monthly licensing reports to ensure all licenses are current.
- Ensures compliance with requirements, policies and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies and governmental regulations; advising management on needed actions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Business or Accounting. Two – four years analyst experience preferred.
- Must possess strong analytical skills and detail orientation; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced confidential environment.
- Must be an expert on Microsoft Access, Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Oracle skills are a plus.
