JOB SUMMARY

Assists and supports the Region Marketing Category Managers and Analysts by entering and maintaining item and supplier information in various Price Book databases.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma required. Associates degree or higher preferred.  Accounting experience a plus.  Must be computer literate and experienced in Microsoft Excel, Word.  Must have excellent communication skills and a strong team/customer service orientation. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtains item cost and allowance information from suppliers and enters it into the Price Book databases.
  • Implements price events by coordinating with Category Managers; analyzing profitability of price event; reviewing all price event components.
  • Provides information by answering questions and responding to requests.
  • Assures QA by coordinating with Category Managers and Analysts; participating in internal review; updating changes.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Maintains historical data by filing information.
    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Researching IPWS (site issues) to determine resolution for items not scanning and/or pricing discrepancies.
  • Processing cost exceptions and notifying category managers of any outstanding vendor cost discrepancies.
  • Processing various McLane reports and enters all pricing elements in the price book database.  (Weekly McLane reports, McLane UIN control forms)
  • Processing PB prod report and entering all item related elements in the radiant database.
  • Updating site banners and TDL related information per installation schedule.
  • Assist in xml file maintenance.
  • Work closely with category analyst and managers to ensure all pricing elements are being executed and communicated.
  • Research and process McLane price book related issues and enter all resolution related information into the database.
  • Other duties as assigned by category managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred.  Must be computer literate in MS WORD, MS ACCESS, MS EXCEL and MS POWERPOINT.  Price Book experience a plus.
